There’s no point in carrying out undercover research and going to the trouble of writing reports if nobody reads them. Once we’ve found out which companies or governmnents are responsible for wrecking the rainforest, we need to let them know what they need to do about it. This gift will help us send reports to the decision makers who have the power to make a difference in the way products are sourced.

How this gift works ...
As well as being home to a vast number of plant and animal species, our rainforests play an important part in regulating global climate. Deforestation causes large amounts of carbon dioxide to be released into the atmosphere, contributing to climate change. Greenpeace conducts extensive research into supply chains of companies to establish what happens to products grown on deforested rainforest land. We then use these reports to convince company leaders and politicians they need to take responsibility for the damage they are causing.
