If you need to occupy a dirty power station or some other scene of an environmental crime, using a metal arm tube to lock yourself to someone else, or even to your other arm, will make it significantly more complicated time consuming and difficult for the people trying to move you on.
How this gift works ...
Non-violent direct actions are a key part of all Greenpeace’s campaigns, getting the message across to governments or corporations who are committing environmental crimes. This can include occupying sites of environmental crimes, such as coal-fired power stations or ships carrying illegal cargo. Locking ourselves together symbolises our commitment to the action and the cause. It also makes it much harder to get rid of us and means we can spend longer on our occupation.
